Picture Perfect
So Life has not been crazy busy lately for me. We always have fun during the week but I have been finding much more time for my blog and shutterfly. com. If you don't know what shutterfly is you should look into it. My sister in law Kayla introduced me to it. You can upload all your pictures to this site and have so many different options as to what to do with them. Currently I am working on Grace's 1st year book. Now I will admit I am not completely driven to do pictures that look professional for every event in my child's life, so her book by no means looks professional. Which is sad. My mom was really good about that kind of stuff, which is why I don't see the need for it. You see I enjoy looking at the random shots taken with our home camera more than the other ones. Because they show who we really are. Not dressed up, no shoes, messy hair and usually surrounded by a crowd of our neighborhood friends. So I decided that I wouldn't waste too much of my money or time and stress on getting the perfect picture because that is not real. Life is not perfect. I want to look back on my children's lives and remember how it really was. Now don't get me wrong. I think having family pictures taken is really awesome. And we have had a few done ourselves. But to me getting a perfect picture and making everyones life crazy in order to do so, just seems silly especially because in the end we won't take these pictures with us..I am pretty sure we will have a better way to view the things we want to see in this life. But never the less I want to be a good mother and have some memories for Grace to look back on, so the book is going to be done! Other than that this week will most likely be just about the same as the last few. Except we are going to dinner in Orlando tonight with some friends from Rexburg who are on Vacation here, and Ben gets to work at the distribution center on Wednesday. I hope you all enjoy some of the recipes I have posted! Have a great week!

The Lastest News!
So a lot has happened in the past 6 months other than me changing my blog... To start, I am living in Florida...YEAH BABY!!!! My dream come true right? Well So I thought. I grew up on the east coast and because we were so close, this is defiantly not my first time down to Florida. Growing up my family vacationed here once maybe even twice a year. But when we would visit Florida it was always centered around the beach and Disney World, two very magical places. We are currently living in Central Florida, which is in short words, "A JUNGLE." Now please do not think that I am a sissy girl who can't stand the out doors. I love the outdoors. The smell, the look, the freedom! It is all just....mmmm I love it. I am just having to adjust to living in the Jungle full time. A friend came up to me on my first Sunday at church, I think she could tell I was still adjusting, and said "Just assume that every animal or bug here could kill you and you'll be fine!" As if that was supposed to comfort me. Now I am not having so much trouble with the mammals, but more so the bugs and lizards. Call me crazy but I think having a giant cockroach crawl across your foot in the middle of night when you are half asleep on the toilet is kinda icky. And I am not a fan of the lizards that live in my house and blend in with the object they are resting on. I get to discover them the hard way...As in picking the object up and feeling the little guy moving under my hand...AHHH I really think lizards are cool but the sneak attack thing is not so much.
Here is a great example of the little snake with legs in action!
The ants are also killer here. When you think ants, you think small, insignificant little bugs that can be squashed quickly with little mess. In Florida they are call "FIRE ANTS" and they are everywhere. They are more like your typical honey bee. They sting rather than bite and they all attack at once. The other day Grace and I were at the playground and she stubble across(this is not very hard to do) an army of them. It took me a second to realize why she was screaming. But when I did I ran over and picked her up and starting to brush them off as quick as possible....Well you can imagine who they came after next. So there I am at the playground shaking Grace in the air while also doing the ants dance myself.... It must have been pretty funny to watch. Here are the battle wounds.
Ok I am done scarring you! Other than that Florida has been pretty awesome. We have the most amazing weather which is such a huge thing for me. Something about the sun just makes me a happier person! I have already found so many good friends in the area. Some I already knew but most are new friends and there is nothing like making new friends. And of course there is the beach which is 30 minutes from our house. I try to go at least once a week with Grace if not more! It's the beach is there such a thing as too much of it?
Here is my sweet little sand eater and the most beautiful smile you will ever see!!!
Ok I am gonna sum this part up with the fact that my dear little Grace will be officially a nursery goer in two weeks!!! She has turned into a little toddler over night and thanks to the advice of my wise mother and mother in law, I am learning how to work with this independent little woman. She gets it from both sides of the family. But regardless being independent is an amazing trait for a child to have. Independent people are what made America happen! An Independent child decided to pray for himself and find the true answer, and now we have this gospel! Independence is indeed a blessing!
